July 4th Weekend at Pinewoods Camp
June 29 - July 3, 2006


Join us for a wonderful weekend of dance and music!
The session features three full days of workshops, evening dances, and social activities.

The evening dances will be a mix of English country dancing, and contras and squares. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, evening dances will be preceded by music for couple dancing.

Pinewoods is a traditional dance and music camp located near Plymouth, Massachusetts. Open-air, wooden-floored pavilions are used for dance activities, and most social events are held at the camphouse. There is an open-air dining hall and campers are housed in small cabins scattered throughout the woods.

Application Information
- The weekend is open to persons age 18 and over; exceptions will be considered on an individual basis.
- Prior dance experience is not necessary.
- If applications received by April 15 exceed available spaces, a lottery will be held.
- Applications received after April 15 will be processed in the order received.
- An effort will be made to achieve an equitable balance of men and women, both in the lottery and in late applications.
- CDS-BC members as of April 15 will be given preference. We cannot process membership applications with this form. Join CDS-Boston today.

Fees
- $320.00 ($300.00 for CDS-BC members)
- $310.00 if paid in full by April 15. ($290.00 for CDS-BC members)
- A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve a space. $25 is refundable if you cancel by June 1st.
- A few work-exchange positions are available; check the space on this form to receive an application. Applications for these positions will be considered only if the $50.00 deposit is enclosed.
- Payment in full must be received by June 1st, or your application will be cancelled.

Room and Board
We will honor housing and roommate preferences whenever possible. You may request specific housing, or general desires (quiet area, party area, single, etc.). If you do not state a roommate preference, we will use age and smoking information to assign you a roommate of the same gender. Housing requests must be received in writing by June 1st.

Cars
Parking is limited ­ please help us out by bringing ONE car per application. Even better, carpool if you can. We will help to match drivers with passengers and those arriving by public transport.

Arrival and Departure Times
Camp opens at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 29th. Campers are not allowed into camp before 3 PM. The session continues through breakfast on Monday, July 3rd, and campers must be out by 10 AM. If you'd like to stay longer, consider English Scottish Session, July 3 - 7, 2006.
