Pinewoods Camp, in Plymouth, MA, nestles into a wooded area between Long Pond and Round Pond, both available for swimming. Classes are held in dance pavilions. The fantastic parties and delicious meals that are an ESS tradition take place in a camp house and dining hall at the edge of Long Pond. Housing is primarily in rustic cabins. Campers do simple chores, such as setting tables, to help keep costs down.

The cost: $340 for adult members of RSCDS and CDS Boston Centre, $350 for non-members. Ages 13-25, $270 for members or non-members.

Some work exchange positions are available! For scholarship information, e-mail Gillian Charters at < ess-scholarship at cds-boston dot org >.

Apply SOON to ensure your space at ESS 2011!

Application Information

Each camper must register in advance. Campers between 13 and 17 are welcome but must apply with a parent or guardian. Acceptances will be sent beginning in late April.

Upon acceptance to ESS, you will receive a packet of materials that includes directions to Pinewoods, travel options, suggestions for what to bring to camp, and more specific detail on general Pinewoods policies and this year's special events.

We will also send a form to be returned to us asking about items such as housing, meal and job preferences, roommate choices, and emergency contacts. Pinewoods does not permit visitors or pets.
