Experienced English Dance Series

 

Experienced dancers are invited to join us on first Fridays for an evening of challenging dances, or familiar dances done with less (or no) teaching. Most dances are taught, but dancers are expected to be familiar with the common figures such as siding, heys, figure-of-eight, etc.

Dances are held from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Church of Our Saviour, Carlton and Monmouth Streets, Brookline, MA. Admission is $10, $8 for CDS members, $5 for students. For more information, contact Deb at 617-721-0600. The location might change during Red Sox home games; watch here for updates.

The First Friday pre-dance dinner moves to a new location! On Friday January 6 we're trying the Beacon Tavern at 1032 Beacon Street in the middle of the same block as the Chinese restaurant. All are welcome at the 6:30 PM dinner. If you plan to come, RSVP to 781-894-3488 by 3:00 PM Friday.
